About Jim Day
Jim Day began his professional career in 1988 when he was a punk college kid who wanted to jump-start his career early. The move paid off.

Despite working 50 hours a week and carrying a full load of classes his senior year, Jim managed to graduate (see cheating in the Dictionary).

During this time, he managed to work his way on-air for a network affiliate in a Top 35 market, while still in college. Day spent 7 years working in many roles at WSYX-TV, Channel 6 (don't hold it against him).

After spending two years away from television while traveling the country with 12 vibrant females (the American Basketball League), Jim was dragged back into television.

He spent five glorious years in Tampa, Florida working for the ABC-affiliate WFTS-TV. It was very tough to drag Jim away from the sunshine, the beaches, the Miami Dolphins, the Tampa Bay Bucs, The Tampa Bay Lightning, and his jet ski...but Fox Sports Ohio managed to do it.

Jim returned to Ohio in 2000 and Fox Sports Ohio has put up with him ever since. He hosts "Reds Live," the pre-game and post-game shows for the Cincinnati Reds.

Day has also worked for the News Dept. of Fox Sports and has covered every major sport for the Network. Recently he served as lead host for "FSN Live at the BCS Championship" (see butt whipping in the Dictionary).

Jim began his not-so-illustrious post-high school career at Bowling Green State University, and proudly finished his degree at THE Otterbein College.

Day is a native of Westerville, Ohio and Westerville South High School. Having grown up a Reds and an Ohio State fan in Columbus, Jim feels he has the right to make pointed comments (see butt whipping above). Jim currently lives in a van down by the river.
