It was very special to broadcast from Yankee Stadium in its final season. This is the most visited part of the stadium, the monument dedicated to "The Babe."

Here is Jim, Chris Welsh and Reds Live Producer Kent "Dream" Weaver in Monument Park.

Reds fans file past the retired numbers of the Yankees, into Monument Park.

Jim and Jeff Brantley hosting "Reds Live" at Yankee Stadium.

As Jim and "The Cowboy"  host "Reds Live," rookie Daryl Thompson files past to warm up for his first Major League start. He would pitch very well in his debut on the biggest stage.

Here's our set at Yankee Stadium...two folding chairs on the dirt, a small monitor on a stool, lights, and no scripts! TV isn't always glamorous!

George Grande in the broadcast booth at Yankee Stadium. There is none better person than George Grande.

George Grande and Chris Welsh in the broadcast booth at Yankee Stadium. As you can tell, George is doing most of the talking!

Solo shot of JD at Yankee Stadium. He'd better be smiling! He's covering sports for a living after all!

Sometimes you become immune to covering celebrities. And then there are times when you look out from the camera well beside the Reds dugout and realize you are watching greatness not often seen. Two of the greatest players of all time playing on the same side of the infield...Jeter and ARod...right before my eyes.
